The Hospitality Industry Golf Organization (HIGO) was established to set high standards for excellence and professionalism in producing golf events for the meetings industry. It provides a forum that includes networking, golf and fun. It's a place where association executives/meeting planners and sponsors within the meetings industry can get together to build relationships and do business. HIGO produces two annual golf tournaments per year. ………The HIGO Ladies' Golf Classic and the Ladies' Capital Classic.

The HIGO Ladies' Golf Classic - This three- day golf event travels around the country and partners with different cities and hotels to host 175 meeting industry professionals each year. Meeting Planners have the opportunity to experience a new location for their meetings and the opportunity to network with sponsors in an enjoyable and non- intimidating environment. The Sponsors have the opportunity to meet and network with approximately 100 qualified association executives/meeting planners, all in one place.

Ladies' Capital Classic - This one-day tournament. It is always held in the DC area and is attended by 150 industry professionals focusing on the Washington, DC meetings industry.

HIGO has a proven record of high quality events. The goal, first and foremost, is to be a business exchange and then a golf tournament. HIGO will continue to seek out the best qualified women meeting professionals to attend the events. One of the important aspects of each tournament is the relationship HIGO has with their Industry Partners, taking great pride in each event produced and always looks for ways to improve.
